1968 He begins career as a song writer, singer and guitar player in the North of France, sharing on occasion the stage with Little Bob, Joe Dassin, Claude Francois, JJ Goldman and Michel Polnareff who sponsors him for the Sacem. He also accompanies Vince Taylor who, at that time, was Johnny Halliday’s main rival.
1978 He signs a contract with the American firm CBS after coming fourth in a national competition at the Olympia ; this was followed by radio tours and studio recordings.
1980 He starts a Rock and Roll band and releases a single which has become a collector’s item distributed by Carrere. Ten years with the Blues Rock trio follow this as well as touring across France.
1990 Back to blues-rock (his first love) touring in France with the band Crossroad. |
